Supporting Our Peers In The Community

Currently, the talk around tabloids and Urban Media is about the racist comment Film Director, Spike Lee made in reference to Screenplay writer, Tyler Perry.  Spike Lee was quick to label Tyler Perry's work as "Coonery Bafoonery"  Where Tyler took offense I strongly agree.  Truth is that we are more judged by our peers and own race.  In the Urban Community, we need to start supporting other black filmmakers because our talent is only being recognized for "Bafoonery".  This is what the white society want our race to represent.  However, there are many black filmmakers in the community that we have no idea of their work because may one of us bypassed them or overlooked them as creating good work.  This is why I would like to introduce to you a short film that was written by a young, beautiful woman from OUR neighborhood that was overlooked.  Not only was this film excellent creativity but, she's our peer.  Please view, comment, and share this short film created by Philly's own, Tiffany Green.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for visiting my site. Again, I urge you to share this film on other social media in process of supporting your peer.   May God continue to bless you abundantly.....Peace.....
